IMPRESSION ADJUSTMENT ARMS
Early in the development process we found it necessary on stations 1 and 2 to modify these arms in order to provide clearance for the quick-change side frames. Since there was a minimum amount of material removed, the integrity of these arms was unaffected. We planned to furnish drawings indicating where to trim the arms with a band saw. However, after consideration, we feared this might meet resistance and result in problems. So instead, we decided to furnish new arms with the necessary clearance. They are included in the kit along with everything else necessary for installation.

FRAME SPACER REMOVAL OR MOVEMENT
The frame spacer located between stations 1 and 2 and below the impression cylinder must be removed to provide clearance for the pneumatic locking system on station 1. Removal of this spacer is easy and has no effect on the strength of the side frames. Each Quick Change unit has an in-press frame that mounts permanently between the side frames. These frames each have 2 spacers that more than compensate for the removal of a single spacer.

PNEUMATIC SWITCH MOUNTING
There is a pneumatic switch for each print station that activates and releases the pneumatic cylinder which locks the station into position. We have chosen to mount all three on the sheet metal next to station 3. It is necessary to provide 1/2" diameter holes for each switch. A template and illustration is furnished.

MOVEMENT OF ANGLE BRACKET
There is a bracket below the second station that fastens the base to the outer side frame. This must be moved to the outside to provide clearance for the roller guides to install or remove station 2.

That's all there is!
